What is Industrious?+
We are an AI-native property company. We manage property, deliver projects and grow asset value across New Zealand, run on an intelligence engine we built ourselves. Better work, for lower fees.
What does "AI-native" actually mean?+
It means the intelligence is built in, not bolted on. We built our operating system so intelligence runs through every workflow. In practice, the boring 80% runs itself and our people go deeper on your asset.
How are you different from a traditional property manager?+
Same senior expertise, none of the admin drag. A traditional manager spends their day on paperwork and chasing. Ours spend it on your asset, your tenants and your returns, because the engine handles the throughput.

The intelligence and AI
Does an AI manage my property instead of a person?+
No. A person manages your property. The engine does the admin, the chasing and the reporting around them. People make every decision; the engine makes sure every decision gets executed.
What is the engine? What is Cass?+
The engine is our proprietary operating system. Cass is how we describe the agents working inside it: Capture, Action, Solve, Support. They triage the throughput so our team is free for the work that needs a human.
What happens if the AI gets something wrong?+
The engine never makes a call that should be human. It prepares the work and lays out the options, then a person checks it and says go. You always know who is accountable, because it is always a person.
Will I be dealing with a chatbot?+
No. You deal with your manager, the same way you always would. The intelligence works behind them, not in front of you.
Does the engine get better over time?+
Yes, and that is the point. Every job, email and inspection gives it more context, so the longer it runs your asset, the sharper it gets.

How do you handle after-hours and urgent maintenance?+

How will I see what is happening with my asset?+
Through the Hub. Owners see live performance, every work order, compliance status and reporting on demand. No black box, no waiting for the monthly PDF.
Are you actually cheaper? How?+
For the same scope, yes, because we carry less overhead. The engine does the work that would otherwise need a bigger back office, and we pass that leverage on. It is not cheaper corners; it is a cheaper process.
Is my data safe?+
Yes. Your data stays yours, held securely, used only to run your asset, and never shared across clients without your say-so.

How do I get a proposal?+
Tell us about your asset through the contact form or a quick call. Because we work from a productised model, we can usually turn a proposal around faster than you expect.
What is a Property Health Check?+
One asset, run through our engine: market rental positioning, OPEX benchmarking, tenant mix, deferred maintenance, LTMP, asset quality and a DCF view. A clear, evidence-based read on where your property stands.
Can I use just one service?+
Yes. Start with what you need. Because it all runs on one engine, adding another line later is seamless rather than a fresh onboarding.
